As part of its effort to fully open the southern border, President Joe Biden‘s Department of Justice (DOJ) on Saturday sought an emergency that would allow it to continue releasing illegal immigrants into the United States.
A federal judge blocked the Biden administration‘s efforts to do that Thursday as the southern border became even more chaotic in anticipation of the lifting of Title 42.
DOJ attorneys went to the U.S. District Court in Florida to ask for a stay of Judge T. Kent Wetherell II’s two-week restraining order on the Biden administration policy.
