President Joe Biden announced Monday that he has decided to keep U.S. Space Command headquarters in Colorado, overturning an 11th-hour move by the Trump administration to move it to Alabama.
Biden reportedly made the decision after being convinced by the argument of the head of Space Command, Gen. James Dickinson, that moving his headquarters now would jeopardize military readiness.
However, Air Force leadership, who studied the issue at length, says relocating to Huntsville, Alabama, was the right move.
