Adora Nwofor, the president of Black Lives Matter YYC in Calgary, Canada, has been charged with a hate crime for allegedly obstructing access to a Catholic school.
Nwofor, known for leading various rallies in recent years, including those related to Roe v. Wade and George Floyd, is also known as a stand-up comedian.
According to court records reported by the National Post, Nwofor was charged with mischief on June 2, 2023. The charge stemmed from an incident on May 26, 2023, during which she purportedly engaged in the “willful obstruction and interference” with the use of a property primarily designated for religious worship and educational purposes.
