Attorney General Pam Bondi on Thursday wrote to FBI Director Kash Patel, asserting that the bureau had not complied with her demand for all documents related to Jeffrey Epstein and demanding that he investigate why agents failed to comply.
The letter became public as the White House turned over an initial set of documents to a group of MAGA influencers for release, prompting frustrations from lawmakers. Bondi’s letter revealed that the FBI had provided her with limited information and appeared to have knowingly withheld large volumes of relevant material from her. Mike Cernovich, one of the influencers who received the initial Epstein documents, confirmed that Bondi was working to secure the rest.
