California Rain Gets Even More Biblical, Massive Increase In Mosquitoes Expected

For the past several months a so-called “atmospheric river” over the Pacific River as brought massive moisture ashore in California – resulting in deadly river flooding, pier-splintering surf and other property damage and record snow fall in higher elevations such as Mammoths Lakes.
And now, the recent storms that swept down into Southern California is expected to result in an increase in the mosquito populations, experts say.
The  increased rainfall has created more stagnant water, which is a breeding ground for mosquitoes, according to the California Department of Public Health.
Los Angeles County officials expect the amount of insects to skyrocket.
