More than a dozen conservative groups are calling for the resignation of Jennifer Granholm, citing “repeated ethical lapses” during her tenure as the Energy Secretary under President Joe Biden.
Granholm has come under intense scrutiny from Republicans since assuming her role in 2021, with allegations that she has not adhered to federal ethics laws.
A coalition of conservative organizations penned a five-page letter to President Biden on Tuesday, outlining their concerns. They claimed that Granholm has consistently neglected her ethical obligations and provided several instances as evidence. The letter called for her “immediate resignation” from her position.
