Canada’s Federal Workers Strike Brings Immigration Process To Halt, Thousands In Limbo

The strike by federal workers in Canada is being called the largest such in the country’s history.
As of Sunday, the strike was entering its third week, which has resulted in cancelled hearings and stalled applications.
About 155,000 federal public servants have been on strike since April 19, largely over the issues of wages and remote working options included in any collective agreement, according to Reuters.
