The trial in Dominion Voting Systems has a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News begins Monday in Delaware courtroom.
Fox News executives and on on-camera stars will have to answer for their role in allowing guest on their shows who spreading doubt about the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.
Jurors decide on the specific question: Did Fox defame the voting machine company by airing now-debunked stories alleging the election was rigged against then-President Trump, despite at least some at the network privately doubting – in now made-public emails – false claims being pushed by Trump and his allies?
Among those expected to testify over the next several weeks are Fox News stars Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity and founder Rupert Murdoch.
