Casey DeSantis Launches ‘Mamas For DeSantis’ In Iowa

Casey DeSantis, the wife of Florida GOP Governor Ron DeSantis, made her inaugural independent appearance for her husband’s campaign on Thursday, as she launched the nationwide edition of “Mamas for DeSantis” in Iowa. The state holds significance as it marks the beginning of the 2024 presidential season with the Iowa caucuses.

Casey DeSantis initially introduced the state-level version of “Mamas for DeSantis” in 2022 during her husband’s successful reelection campaign for governor, where he secured a commanding victory by an impressive margin of 19 points. Through this initiative, she enlisted the support of over 1.1 million mothers who stood behind her husband’s candidacy, contributing to his substantial lead among female voters by 9%.

Addressing Iowa voters at a public event, Casey DeSantis emphasized the significance of protecting both mothers and their children. She remarked, “It’s one thing when policies affect us, the mamas. But it’s another thing when they target our children. And that’s when we fiercely defend our families.”
