Nima Momeni, who is accused of killing Bob Lee, stabbed the Cash App founder with a kitchen knife in an attack that city prosecutors described as “planned” and “deliberate” in court documents NBC Bay Area released Friday.
Shortly before the murder, the two men argued over the suspect’s married sister, Khazar, before Momeni reportedly drove Lee to a “secluded area” of the city, stabbed him three times and fled, leaving Lee “to slowly die,” the documents alleged.
Hours before his murder, Nima had grilled Lee about his relationship with Khazar, who is married to a prominent local plastic surgeon, demanding to know whether she’d been ‘doing drugs’ or anything ‘inappropriate’ while spending time with him.
