Protesters clashed briefly near the downtown Manhattan courthouse where former President Donald Trump will be arraigned later today.
A shouting match between Trump loyalists and detractors narrowly avoided becoming a serious physical altercation as riled up attendees traded barbs over the heads of police officers.
“Get out of here you old bag of bones!” one Trump supporter mocked a gray-haired woman wearing an “Arrest Trump” sweatshirt.
“Get the f–k out of here!” another yelled.
