‘Could Not Last A Week In Texas’: Gov. Abbott Rips NYC Mayor Adams Over Migrant Crisis

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has responded strongly to New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ characterization of him as a “madman” for relocating border crossers to the city, asserting that Mayor Adams “could not last a week in Texas” when it comes to managing migrants.
Mayor Adams, a frustrated Democratic leader, expressed concerns about the recent influx of asylum seekers into New York City during a town hall event last week, warning that it could have a detrimental impact on the city. He went on to label Governor Abbott as a “madman” for transporting thousands of migrants from the Texas border to liberal cities like New York.
Governor Abbott, appearing on “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Monday, countered Mayor Adams’ remarks by highlighting what he perceived as the relatively low number of migrants in New York City, deeming Mayor Adams’ comment as unwarranted given the situation on the ground.
