D1 College QB Giving Up Football To Become A Navy SEAL

A Utah State University football player is trading in his future in the sport to serve his country, giving up another season of football to join the Navy SEALs.
Quarterback Levi Williams made his announcement through a podcast appearance, during which he expressed his love for the sport but knew his playing days were “going to come to an end,” according to KSL Sports. His announcement comes only a few days after he helped the Aggies defeat the University of New Mexico, 44-41, and secure bowl eligibility.
Williams explained that the SEALs’ motto “that no one guy is better than the other” and that all members are required to complete a mission given to them is what appealed to him.
