Dollar General Found To Jeopardize Worker Safety, Department Of Labor Says

The Department of Labor announced that a Dollar General store in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, was found to have “dangerous safety hazards,” such as blocked emergency exits, during an OSHA inspection. 
This inspection was one of over 180 investigations where Dollar General was found to be compromising worker safety, according to the DOL. 
Despite making $37.84 billion in sales in fiscal year 2022, the discount retailer was issued a $245,544 fine.
