Eight Dogs Die From Extreme Heat After Trip In Un-Air Conditioned Cargo Van

At least eight dogs died of heat -related injuries following a recent trip in the back of an uncooled cargo van through Indiana.
Authorities say the incident occurred Thursday night and that dogs that died were among 18 shepherds being transported from O’Hare International Airport in Chicago to a training facility in northern Indiana.
The unnamed driver reportedly said he was unaware that the air conditioning in the cargo area failed until he heard dogs barking.
