Embattled “Squad” member Missouri Rep. Cori Bush trail her top challenger by 22 points in her 2024 Democrat primary, according to a poll released Monday.
The poll was commissioned by GOP firm Remington Research Group on behalf of the Missouri Scout and was conducted on Feb. 7-9. It included 401 likely 2024 Democratic primary voters and the margin of error was 4.9%
The responses to the poll question show a national trend, incumbents with sympathetic views toward Palestinians, particularly now during the Israel-Hamas war, are facing stiff and numerous primary challenges.
Bush, who aligns with the progressive House caucus known as the Squad, is also facing a Justice Department probe in the handling of campaign funds for security.
