FBI, IRS Interfered With Hunter Biden Investigation Too

Testimony from two IRS whistleblowers regarding alleged interference by the Justice Department, FBI, and IRS in the tax evasion case involving Hunter Biden was released by the House Ways and Means Committee on Thursday.

Committee Chairman Jason Smith, a Republican from Missouri, stated that the testimony revealed instances of “misconduct and government abuse” within the IRS and FBI during the investigation of Hunter Biden.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the committee described the allegations as pointing to a series of concerns, including unequal treatment in the enforcement of tax laws, interference by the Department of Justice leading to delays, disclosures, and denials in the investigation of potential tax crimes committed by the President’s son, and retaliation against IRS employees who exposed the alleged misconduct.
