FBI, IRS Officials Subpoenaed Over Slow Hunter Biden Response

Two Republican chairmen have issued subpoenas to four officials from the FBI and IRS on Monday, demanding their appearance before Congress for depositions regarding the Department of Justice’s investigation of Hunter Biden. This move marks an escalation in the dispute over access to investigators involved in scrutinizing the president’s son.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) stated in letters accompanying the subpoenas, obtained by the Washington Examiner, that they believe these officials possess information concerning a crucial meeting held last year.
This meeting was attended by special counsel David Weiss, who is the lead prosecutor in the Hunter Biden case.
