Activists in Seattle are attempting to throw a wrench in the city’s efforts to clear homeless encampments ahead of the upcoming MLB All Star game by planning an RV “park in,” according to a flyer obtained by KOMO TV and shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The city gave homeless RV residents parked throughout Seattle’s SODO neighborhood, near the city’s T-Mobile Park baseball stadium, notices to relocate and move their belongings from the area ahead of the game, according to KOMO News.
Activists distributed flyers to homeless residents living out of RVs advising them to move back to the SODO neighborhood as parking rules lapse the night before the game in order to negate the city’s efforts to clear out homeless encampments in the area.
