Kate Bedingfield, formerly a senior White House communications official, has joined CNN as a political commentator, according to an announcement made by the network on Friday.
In her new role, Bedingfield will serve as an on-air commentator, following the path of other former White House media officials who have transitioned to television roles.
Notable examples include former press secretary Jen Psaki and former spokesperson for Vice President Harris, Symone Sanders, both of whom are now part of the MSNBC network.
