The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) claim to have found an underground Hamas military facility beneath Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, the largest hospital in the region.
The IDF has released images and accompanying graphics supporting their assertion of an extensive command post below the hospital.
IDF spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari stated that terrorist operatives are allegedly using a network of tunnels beneath Shifa Hospital and other medical facilities in Gaza, suggesting that such practices are systematic.
