Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris says in an upcoming interview Republican messaging that her party wanting abortion access until birth was “ridiculous.”
The comment was from an excerpt of the interview to air Sunday on CBS News.
However she avoided answering the question about at when the cut off to such access should be.
Harris also said she and President Biden have made clear Democrats “need to put back into law the protections that are in Roe v. Wade,” the decades-old abortions right law struck down in June 2022 by the Supreme Court.
However, Democrats do not have the votes in the Senate to restore the protections.
