Negotiations between the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers and the Writers Guild of American continue Sunday, for the fifth straight day, in an effort the end the months-long strike that has largely shutdown the country’s TV, movie entertainment industry
The alliance Saturday afternoon reportedly sent its “best and final” offer to the writers’ union.
“The WGA and AMPTP met for bargaining on Saturday and will meet again on Sunday,” the sides said in a joint statement this weekend.
