Members of the House have expressed “grave concerns” over a partnership between the University of California, Berkeley, and Chinese organizations that potentially aids the Chinese communist government in military and economic advancements.
The House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party recently sent a letter to the university’s president, addressing the Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute.
This collaboration involves the University of California, Berkeley, Tsinghua University in China, and the city of Shenzhen.
