House Judiciary Committee Holds Hearing In Chicago To Focus On City’s Violent Crime Problem

Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s handling of criminal prosecutions will be in the national spotlight Tuesday.
The Republican-controlled U.S. House Judiciary Committee plans a “Victims of Violent Crime in Chicago” hearing at the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police hall. The Center Square will live webcast the hearing beginning at 9 .am. Tuesday.
An announcement of the hearing says the panel of congressional members and experts will look into how Foxx’s “pro-crime and anti-victim policies are leading to an increase in violent crime and a dangerous community for Chicago residents.”
