Indian Prime Minister Modi Joins Trump’s Truth Social

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has joined President Trump’s Truth Social platform.

“Delighted to be on Truth Social! Looking forward to interacting with all the passionate voices here and engaging in meaningful conversations in the times to come,” Modi said in a post on Monday.

Trump announced the launch of Truth Social back in 2021 after he was banned from Twitter, which is now known as X. He frequently posts on the platform, even using it to discuss important announcements like picks for Cabinet positions in his administration.

During the first Trump administration, Modi formed a close relationship with Trump. The two went to a large rally with each other in Houston six years ago, and Trump went to India in 2020, with thousands of people in Ahmedabad watching the two politicians speak.

By Tuesday afternoon, Modi already had four posts on Truth Social, including one in which he said he was happy to welcome Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard to India.
