It’s Happening: Kari Lake To Run For Senate In Arizona

Kari Lake, a former Republican gubernatorial candidate and television journalist, is set to officially declare her candidacy for Arizona’s Senate seat on October 10, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.
In the 2022 gubernatorial election in the state, Lake narrowly lost to then-Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs by a margin of 0.6% of the vote. Despite this defeat, Lake refused to concede and asserted that the election had been stolen from her.
She is a steadfast supporter of former President Donald Trump and is poised to announce her campaign for the Senate seat currently held by independent Senator Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona at a rally scheduled for October 10, according to information from the WSJ.
