Ivanka’s Out For Trump 47: ‘I Hate Politics’

Ivanka Trump has zero plans of returning the White House to help her father run the country during his second administration, bluntly declaring: “I hate politics.”

President-elect Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, who was among his top advisers during his first stint, told the Skinny Confidential’s “Him & Her Show” podcast on Tuesday that she is steering clear of Washington DC this time around.

“I love policy and impact. I hate politics. And unfortunately, the two are not separable,” Ivanka, 43, said, adding it is a “very dark, negative business.”

“There is a darkness to that world that I don’t really want to welcome into mine,” she continued.

“To some degree, I’m at the center of the storm because my father is about to be president, but it’s a very dark, negative business. And some people love the gladiator aspect of it — the fight. That was never me.”

Ivanka — who relocated to Florida with her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three kids after Trump’s 2020 election loss — said she still plans to “show up” for her dad as he makes his return next week.
