Japan’s Oldest Person Dies At 116

Japan’s oldest person, Fusa Tatsumi, has passed away at the age of 116 due to old age, as reported by local Japanese broadcaster MBS.
Fusa Tatsumi, who spent her final days at a nursing home in Kashiwara, was recognized for her frequent interactions with the facility’s staff.
She held the position after the previous oldest person in Japan died in April at 119.
