Business is business, and Prince Harry and Jelly Roll are inking their new deal to the hilt.
The British royal and country music star teamed up for a cheeky ad for the 2025 Invictus Games. The clip, shared on Instagram Tuesday, shows Prince Harry meeting Jelly Roll at a tattoo parlor to ask him to perform at the sports event’s closing ceremony.
However, much to Harry’s surprise, the “Need a Favor” singer informs the Duke of Sussex that he’ll be giving Harry his “first tattoo” in commemoration of the games. “This is the coolest thing ever!” Jelly Roll exclaims.
“No, I came here to ask you to do the Invictus Games. There’s no tattoo in this. I can’t get a tattoo,” Prince Harry tells Jelly Roll, to which the country star replies, “I’ll play the Invictus Games; you just let me give you your first tattoo.”
Despite his reluctance, Prince Harry agrees to the tattoo tradeoff. While Harry suggested placing the ink on his lower back or bum, Jelly Roll insisted on a neck tattoo. “This is for the world,” the singer said.
Jelly Roll ended up adding a personal touch to the Duke of Sussex’s tattoo. The design, which featured the Invictus Games’ “I am” logo, also included the singer’s signature at the bottom, reading in full, “I am Jelly Roll.”
