Jim Jordan Blasts Georgia’s Fani Willis Over ‘Hostile Response’ To House Probe

House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) responded on Wednesday to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s (D) “hostile response” to his request for the submission of documents pertaining to her prosecution of former President Trump.
In a letter issued on Wednesday, Jordan expressed his concern that Willis’s reaction to his request further solidifies the committee’s apprehension regarding her prosecutorial actions, suggesting that they may be driven more by political motives and personal recognition than by the promotion of fair and impartial law enforcement.
Jordan had previously dispatched letters to various prosecutorial bodies investigating Trump. In his late August letter to Willis, sent just hours prior to Trump’s surrender to the Fulton County Jail, he requested the turnover of all records connected to her involvement in the 2020 election interference case.
