It’s a no from a state judge when it comes to letting state Rep. Zooey Zephyr, a transgender lawmaker from Missoula, back into the Montana House.
Zephyr was kicked out after attacking colleagues over legislation that would ban transgender surgeries for minors.
District Court Judge Mike Menahan said the “requested relief would require this Court to interfere with legislative authority in a manner that exceeds this Court’s authority. Plaintiffs also seek injunctive relief which far outpaces the facts at issue here.”
