Judge To End ‘Blind Side’ Star’s Conservatorship After Ex-NFL Star’s Controversy

A Tennessee judge has decided to terminate the conservatorship agreement involving former NFL star Michael Oher and Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy. This action comes after Oher filed a lawsuit alleging that he had been misled into believing he had been adopted.
Shelby County Probate Court Judge Kathleen Gomes made the announcement on Friday, indicating her intent to end the agreement between the two parties. Their story served as the inspiration for the book and Oscar-winning film “The Blind Side,” as confirmed by a spokesperson for the Tuohys.
It’s important to note that while the conservatorship agreement is set to be terminated, the case itself has not been dismissed. During the remote hearing, neither party addressed the court.
