Following her brother’s tragic assassination in 1968, Farris dedicated herself to preserving and advancing his legacy in collaboration with her sister-in-law, Coretta Scott King.
While Coretta Scott King garnered significant attention for her activism, Farris’ contributions and sorrow were often carried out away from the public eye.
