Arkansas Republican Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders is now at the center of a controversy for a $19,000 lectern her office bought.
The lectern does not appear to ever have been used in public by the governor, and she won’t say where it is.
Huckabee Sanders’ office also won’t say where the lectern is, amid questions about its high cost.
The purchase resulted in an audit and claims her office illegally altered public records
Sanders calls such questions “manufactured controversy” and “tabloid gossip.”
