Hersha Parady, renowned for her portrayal of schoolteacher Alice Garvey on the popular NBC series “Little House on the Prairie,” passed away at the age of 78 on Wednesday.
Parady’s demise occurred at the residence of her son, Jonathan Peverall, located in Norfolk, Virginia. The cause was attributed to a brain tumor that was diagnosed in July, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Back in July, to assist in defraying his mother’s medical costs, Peverall established a GoFundMe campaign. The initiative successfully raised a total of $20,482.
