Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R-VA) may find it harder to stay out of the 2024 presidential race following a promising new poll.
A recent poll, taken in July from VCU’s Wilder School L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs found that the governor is currently the only Republican who could win his home state in a hypothetical matchup against President Joe Biden.
In May, when asked directly if he would be running for president in 2024, the Virginia Republican appeared to decline, though his team later clarified that he didn’t rule it out entirely.
