A bull running loose on the New Jersey Transit train tracks in Newark caused delays of up to 45 minutes between Newark Penn Station and Penn Station New York on Thursday morning.
NJ Transit reported the delays were due to police activity near Newark Penn Station and shared an image of the bull on the tracks.
Initial reports of the bull came in just after 10:30 a.m., and it was reportedly off the tracks by 11 a.m., though not yet captured. CBS News later reported that the bull was cornered into a fenced area and would be rescued and cared for by a local animal sanctuary.
