Los Angeles Hotel Workers Strike For Second Time In Two Weeks

Thousands of housekeepers, cooks, dishwashers and other hospitality workers walked off the job Monday.
The union-backed employees are pushing for wage increases and better workloads.
The strike was the second in two weeks, with the first being three-day one by workers at almost 20 hotels in the region, after union contracts at more than 60 hotels expired at the end of June.
