Mark Meadows, the former chief of staff for Donald Trump, submitted an urgent request on Monday, seeking a judge’s intervention to temporarily suspend the court order in the Georgia racketeering case.
This development follows closely on the heels of a recent decision by a federal judge who rejected Meadows’ request to transfer the case to federal jurisdiction.
In response to the ruling issued on Friday by U.S. District Judge Steve Jones, Meadows initiated the process of filing an appeal.
