Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Sunday declined to directly answer the question on whether he’s endorsing former President Trump for reelection.
The California congressman responded to the question by saying, “The campaign is still going. There’s a very good chance I would endorse President Trump.”
McCarthy also said he’s more focused on such issues as the southern U.S. border and the war in the Middle East.
