Migrants are reportedly trashing their documents confirming their appointments for legal entry into the U.S. through the Biden administration’s online application process, known as the CBP One program, and instead entering along the southern U.S. border illegally, citing long waits with the program and problems in Mexico.
The change is according to migrants interviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation along the Rio Grande in Eagle Pass, Texas.
The Biden administration began use of CBP One for migrants to enter the U.S. legally by booking appointments on a phone application amid a surge in illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border.
