Ramstein Air Base, a U.S. Air Force base located in Germany, recently organized a “Pride”-themed story hour for children at its library, following a previous cancellation of a drag event.
Dubbed “Reading with PRIDE,” the event took place on June 15, as showcased through photos posted on the official Ramstein Air Base Facebook page. The base proudly shared images of volunteers reading books to children, emphasizing the celebration of Pride Month and the theme of inclusion.
The pictures captured the volunteers engaging with the children in a room adorned with rainbow colors, including a table featuring a placard that conveyed the message of creating a “safe space” for everyone.
