More NY Counties Declare State Of Emergency Over Migrants

Several additional counties in the Hudson Valley have recently declared a State of Emergency in response to the ongoing arrival of asylum seekers in New York City.

Dutchess, Sullivan, and Greene counties made this declaration on Thursday, highlighting their limited capacity and lack of suitable accommodations to house the increasing number of individuals seeking asylum.

Officials in Greene County specifically emphasized their inability to provide adequate physical rooms and necessary support for the anticipated influx of asylum seekers.
