Former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, disclosed through a statement read on the House floor Wednesday that she had been served with subpoenas by both the prosecution and defense in the case of a man accused of attacking her husband with a hammer at their San Francisco residence.
The subpoenas are connected to the upcoming criminal trial of David DePape, who stands charged with assaulting Paul Pelosi.
The incident occurred on October 28, 2022, as reported by the Daily Mail in January, when DePape entered the Pelosis’ San Francisco home by breaking a window, then confronted Paul Pelosi and inquired about the whereabouts of his wife.
