Navy To Begin Randomly Testing SEALs For Steroids

In a groundbreaking move, the Navy will initiate random drug testing for steroids and other performance-enhancing substances among its special operations forces starting in November, marking a significant departure from the military’s previous stance on such testing.
Rear Adm. Keith Davids, the commander of Naval Special Warfare Command, made this announcement on Friday, emphasizing the need to safeguard the health and readiness of their personnel. The Navy will be the first to implement random testing, with the Army Special Operations Command planning to follow suit in the near future, although no specific commencement date has been confirmed.
Notably, the Army and Navy house the largest and most renowned special operations forces, including the Navy SEALs and the Army’s Delta Force, Green Berets, and Ranger Regiment.
