Next Up Lawrence Jones: Rising Fox Star Takes Carlson Slot, Tries To Stop Ratings Slide

The Fox News Channel’s primetime rating have been in a free fall since the cable TV network fired host Tucker Carlson on Monday.
Morning show host Brian Kilmeade took Carlson’s 8 p.m. slot last week, as primetime viewership dropped by a reported 56%, according to the Nielsen company.
The immensely popular Carlson was fired in the aftermath of Dominion Voting System’s defamation suit against the conservative cable TV channel in which some of Carlson’s internal emails and/or texts took centerstage.
The 30-year-old Jones will host the rebranded ‘Fox News Tonight” show.
