‘Nikki Who?’

The 2024 Trump presidential campaign had already revealed its strategy before the South Carolina primary Saturday – ignore Nikki Haley, Trump’s only remain, serious GOP rival.

Trump solidly defeated Haley in her home state this Saturday.

The campaign plans to ignore Haley with Super Tuesday on the horizon and the former South Carlonia governor having yet to win a primary.

To be sure, Trump’s victory speech Saturday night didn’t attack Haley, a previous ones had, and instead focused on a rematch with Democratic President Joe Biden.

Further attacking Haley would only drive more media coverage toward a candidate who has no clear path to the Republican presidential nomination, Trump advisers say.

At a Trump event Friday, campaign co-manager Chris LaCivita when asked about Haley told Reuters: “Nikki who?”
