‘NJ DESERVES BETTER’

New Jersey Democrat Sen. Bob Menendez has gotten in his first 2024 primary challenge – one day after being indicted on federla bribery charges.
Rep. Andy Kim, D-N.J., said Saturday that he plans to run against Menendez.
The incumbent senator is facing mounting pressure from Democrats to resign amid the charges announced Friday.
Kim has also called on Menendez to resign.
“Not something I expected to do, but NJ deserves better,” he wrote in a post to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
