Music stars from Neil Young to George Strait to Snoop Dogg on Saturday night celebrated music legend Willie Nelson’s 90th birthday at the Hollywood Bowl, in Los Angeles.
Nelson, wearing a cowboy hat and playing a guitar with a red-white-and-blue guitar strap, sang the duet he did years back with musician Neil Young, “Are There Any More Real Cowboys?”
The birthday celebration is being held Saturday and Sunday at the open-air amphitheater.
“I want to thank all the artists who came out tonight to help celebrate whatever it is we’re celebrating,” said Nelson, feigning senility and getting a laugh at the Saturday night event, attended by 17,000.
